Caro Caro Cutting Board
Made from a Guatemalan hardwood, the large loop-handled cutting board is perfect for two-person prep work, or a group charcuterie board. The small board is ideal for displaying your cheeses and crackers for you and a friend (or just you if you're feeling fancy).
The Artesanos de San Pedro procure recycled or sustainably sourced caro caro wood from the Smartwood Alliance in order to secure the future of the wildlife that surrounds their community.

Care: Handwash. We recommend giving your board a hardy scrub the first few times, and letting it dry on a towel or surface you don't mind a bit of mineral oil bleeding onto while breaking your board in. Wooden cutting boards get more beautiful with each use. The oils from foods and hands will help season the board. From cutting, soap or oversoaking, you may notice the fibers of the wood lifting. To smooth, use fine grit sandpaper then oil your board with food-safe wood oil (we prefer walnut).
Please note: These pieces are made by hand. Variations in coloration are normal and desirable—it means they're natural materials and that humans touched them!
